The plain terms.
By subscribing to a Blackwell Shelf product, you agree to the terms on this page. They are short on purpose. Questions go to 416streetfoodco@gmail.com.
Subscription access to two tools.
The Blackwell Shelf, run by Blackwell Case Work (Toronto), is a subscription service that gives you access to two server-run tools through a hosted endpoint or the subscriber desk:
extract_angle— The Angle Extractor: structures a raw brain-dump into an Angle Brief.build_dossier— The Research Dossier Method: assembles the research material you supply into a structured dossier scaffold.
The methods run on our server. You receive the results the tools return. You do not receive the methods themselves: no files, no prompt text, no downloads.
The tools work from the material you supply. A brief or dossier is a structured working document, not a guarantee of any outcome, and the dossier tool does not verify facts — see the setup page for exact descriptions of what each tool does and does not do.
What a subscription costs.
- $29 / month — The Angle Extractor (
extract_angle). - $49 / month — The Research Dossier Method (
build_dossier). - $59 / month — All access: both tools under one key (bought separately they are $78 a month).
Billing is handled by our payment provider on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Access is tied to an active subscription: keys are checked on every run.
How ending a subscription works.
You can cancel at any time through the payment provider or by contacting us at 416streetfoodco@gmail.com. Cancelling stops the renewal. When the subscription ends, access ends with it: the license key stops working, and connected clients lose access at the same time.
One subscriber, one key.
Your license key is issued to you personally. Do not share it, lend it, resell it, or publish it. Access obtained with a shared or transferred key may be revoked. If you lose your key, contact us — we can help you recover access to your own subscription.
What the tools are for.
- Use the tools for your own business ideas, projects, and notes.
- Do not submit claim files, government IDs, or other people's private information. See the privacy page.
- Do not submit passwords, keys, or other secrets as tool input.
- Do not use the service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or misrepresent a tool's output as independently verified research.
- Do not attempt to extract, copy, or reverse-engineer the underlying methods, or to bypass the license checks.
The service is provided as a working tool, maintained as we go. Response times and availability can vary; if something breaks, tell us and we will look at it.
